Flush Your Motors, Not Your Time

BUILT FOR MERCURY OUTBOARDS

The Flush Port Quick Connect for Mercury permanently replaces your factory flush port cap, giving you fast, reliable access to freshwater flushing — without removing stuck plugs or fighting recessed ports. It’s the easiest way to make flushing something you actually do after every trip.

No More Stuck Caps

Mercury OEM flush caps can seize, crack, or require pliers to remove — leading many owners to skip flushing altogether. This quick connect stays installed, so flushing is always one simple connection away.

BUILT TO STAY PUT

Designed with locking tabs that secure the fitting in place, even at speed. Unlike compression-style caps that can loosen or pop off, this design stays locked in during real-world boating.

Easy Install, No Guesswork

Everything you need comes in the kit. The Quick Connect is designed to directly replace the OEM flush port cap with a precise, brand-specific fit. No drilling, no modification — just a straightforward install that makes flushing easier from day one.

Improved Visibility, By Design

Mercury engines already use an internal check valve — that’s why the OEM cap includes a weep hole. Flushmaster’s Quick Connect keeps that design intact, adding a clearly visible weep hole that’s easier to see at a glance. If water shows where it shouldn’t, you’ll notice sooner — without changing how the engine was designed to work.

Marine-Grade & Leak-Free

Built for harsh marine environments, the Quick Connect uses corrosion-resistant materials and a dual O-ring sealing system to create a secure, leak-free connection. Designed to handle salt, sun, vibration, and repeated use with confidence.

FAQs

Is this compatible with my Mercury engine?

Our Flush Port Quick Connect for Mercury is designed to fit the standard flush ports found on Mercury Verado, Pro XS, and FourStroke models. If your engine has the factory recessed threaded port, this is a direct, screw-in replacement engineered for a precise, brand-specific fit.
Compatibility Guide

Can I use this without the Flushmaster Controller system?

Yes. You can use the Quick Connect as a standalone manual upgrade. Simply click your garden hose into the port for an effortless 15-minute flush. However, for the ultimate convenience, we recommend the Flushmaster Controller to fully automate the timing and sequence of your engine maintenance.

Will this affect my engine operation while boating?

Not at all. Mercury engines utilize an internal check valve to manage water flow, and our Quick Connect is designed to work in harmony with that system. The secure "Twist-to-Lock" cap ensures the port remains sealed and protected while you are underway.

Does this replace the "stuck" factory flush cap?

Yes. Mercury OEM caps are notorious for seizing or requiring pliers to remove. The Flushmaster replaces that plastic cap with a permanent, marine-grade fixture. Once installed, you never have to unscrew a stuck cap again—just a simple one-handed click and you’re ready to flush.

Why is there a weep hole in the cap and what does it mean if it's leaking?

Mercury engines are designed with an internal check valve to manage water flow, and just like the factory cap, ours features a weep hole to work with that system. Many boaters overlook the factory weep hole because it is recessed and hard to see. Our design sticks out further, providing a clear visual indicator. If you see water dripping from the hole while the engine is running, it means your internal check valve has debris in it or is failing. We recommend having your mechanic take a look.
