How do I measure with a dock line?
Lay a dock line from your planned controller location to each flush connection. Follow the real route and leave natural slack. Measure the longest run and choose a hose option that reaches comfortably.
These are controller outlet hoses. Your water-supply hose and any internal reroute-installation hose are separate.

GREAT PRODUCT WORKS WELL ONCE INSTALLED...WAS A BIT MORE DIFFICULT TO GET 1/2" HOSE THRU THE TUBE AS WE DID NOT HAVE YAMAHA TUBES ON MY DUAL 300 HP ENGINES..WE USED TUBING FROM HOME DEPOT AND WD 40 TO SLIDE IT IN. WOULD BE HELPFUL IF YAMAHA TUBES CAME WITH THE PRODUCT. TO BE HONEST..COULDNT BE HAPPIER WITH IT'S PERFORMANCE.

Great product, the double o-rings are an excellent touch. I bought 2 thinking one for my Yamaha 150hp and one for my 9.9 Yamaha. Does not work on the 9.9 kicker as it hits the linkage. Thinking a Tee might work.
Because I have 2 engines and I use both this product doesn’t really make sense right now. Hopefully they will work on a system for the kicker engine.

Flushmaster helps simplify the connections and routine. Your engine manufacturer still determines the correct flush connection, engine position, whether the engine must remain off, and flush duration.

Do I need every Flushmaster product?
No. The Controller adds automatic timing and sequential flushing.
The Flushmaster Controller works with all three connection options: Flush Port Quick Connects at the engine, a Flush Port Reroute that moves the connections inside the boat, or a solid 316 stainless steel Water Inlet for a premium direct replacement or quick-connect option. Choose the connection that fits your setup; you do not need all three for the same engine route.
Does the controller flush all engines at once?
No. It sends water through one selected outlet at a time, moves to the next programmed outlet, and shuts off water when the cycle finishes. Use the procedure and flush duration specified for your engine.
Does a controller need boat wiring or permanent mounting?
No boat wiring is needed. The controller is battery-powered and can be used as a portable setup or with suitable mounting accessories. Choose its location first, then measure the hose route to each engine or rerouted flush connection.
How do I choose the hose length?
Run a dock line from the planned controller location to each flush connection, following the actual route with natural slack. Measure the longest run you need. Controller outlet hoses are separate from the water-supply hose and the internal hose used for a reroute installation.
Are Quick Connects required with a controller?
No. Flush Port Quick Connects are an optional upgrade for easier hookup at the engine. The Controller also works with Flush Port Reroutes and Water Inlets. Choose one connection path for each engine route and confirm fit before ordering.
Can I install a Reroute myself?
Installation varies by engine and vessel. Review the Reroute Installation Guide before buying or cutting anything, and have a qualified marine technician confirm the connection method. Stop and seek professional help whenever a step or engine connection is unclear.
Does a Reroute plate include the installation hose?
The plate and Reroute Install Kit are separate. For a new reroute installation, choose one plate with the appropriate outlet count and one matching Reroute Install Kit per engine. Each kit contains one 25 ft hose, four clamps, and one tee fitting.
If your boat is already rerouted, have a marine technician check the existing hoses and fittings before buying new installation hose. You may be able to reuse compatible plumbing.
My boat already has rerouted flush ports. What do I need?
Start with the connections already on your boat. A Quick Connect Water Inlet can replace compatible individual water fittings; a Flush Port Reroute can replace a compatible panel or connection layout. Confirm mounting dimensions, hose size, rear clearance, and one separate flush line per engine with a qualified marine technician.
Why choose the Hose Connection Kit instead of just a spare male tip?
A male tip is only one part of the connection. For a complete spray-nozzle-to-controller setup, the Hose Connection Kit adds two male tips, a matching female adapter, and a shutoff valve.
The valve lets you stop water at the hose end before disconnecting, then reopen it after connecting the nozzle or controller. Check which compatible pieces you already have when choosing replacement parts.
