What changes at the engine?

The fitting provides a quick-connect interface for the regular hose hookup. It does not change the engine's flushing requirements or move the connection inside the boat.

Match the engine application

Flushmaster offers engine Quick Connect options for Mercury, Suzuki, Yamaha and Honda applications. Confirm the exact model and year, existing port arrangement and current fitting instructions before ordering.

Brand alone is not a complete fitment check. If your engine has different plumbing or a previous modification, send a photo before choosing a part.

Check the hose side, too

Use the matching hose-side adapter and inspect its seals. Check the package contents before adding a separate replacement connector: your selected kit may already include the part you need. Clean and inspect fittings as directed rather than assuming any connection is maintenance-free.

Add timing only if it helps

A suitable garden hose can be used manually. A Flushmaster Controller adds automatic timing and outlet sequencing. If access is the problem instead, consider whether an approved onboard flush connection would be more convenient.
