FLUSH PORT QUICK CONNECTS

Connect at the engine. Keep your routine simple.

Your engine keeps its own flush connection. The Quick Connect makes that connection easier to use; choose one kit for each engine and confirm fitment before ordering.

Watch the installation video for your engine brand. Confirm model and fit before installation.

Install the correct fitting.

Check your engine model, year and flush-port arrangement. Follow the installation guide for the initial fitting installation.

Connect and flush.

Attach a compatible freshwater hose with the included female adapter. Use the engine manufacturer’s required flush duration and procedure.

Disconnect and secure.

Turn off the water before removing the flushing hose.

Refit and lock the cap before engine operation, as shown in the installation guide.

MANUAL FLUSHING

Use your garden hose.

Attach the hose using the supplied female adapter. Flush one engine at a time, turning the water off before moving the hose to the next engine. A Controller is optional.

OPTIONAL UPGRADE

Let the Controller handle the sequence.

Keep an outlet hose connected to each engine. A Flushmaster Controller supplies one selected engine at a time, then advances and shuts off automatically. Choose 2-Outlet for 1–2 engines or 4-Outlet for 1–4.

Quick hookup does not shorten the required flush. Follow your engine manufacturer’s instructions for duration, engine position and engine-off requirements.

Close the port after flushing

Turn off the water and remove the hose. Refit and lock the cap as directed before operating the engine. The double O-ring design provides a secure connection when properly installed.

Keep the weep hole visible

The Mercury cap includes a visible weep hole associated with the engine’s check-valve system. Keep it unobstructed and have an authorized service center assess unexpected leakage during engine operation.

Will this fit my Mercury?

Do I need a Flushmaster Controller?

No. Connect your garden hose with the included female adapter and flush one engine at a time. A Controller is an optional upgrade that handles the timing, outlet changes and water shutoff.

How many kits do I need?

Order one kit per engine connection: one for a single, two for twins, three for triples or four for quads. Check What’s Included for the supplied adapters and brand-specific parts.

What do I do after flushing?

Turn off the water before disconnecting the hose. Refit and lock the cap before engine operation, following the product and engine instructions.

What is the hole in the Mercury cap for?

The weep hole provides a visible indication associated with the engine’s internal check valve. Do not block it. If you notice unexpected leakage while the engine is operating, ask your authorized Mercury service center to inspect the check valve.
