ENHANCED SAFETY

Stop the transom balancing act. Moving ports to the cockpit keeps both feet on the deck, making engine maintenance safer by eliminating the need to reach over slippery brackets.

How It Works

The Flush Port Reroute moves your engines’ OEM flush ports to a clean, accessible panel inside the boat. Just run a reinforced marine-grade hose through your existing rigging tube and connect directly to each engine’s flush port from inside the cowling.

  • Choose your mounting location for the Reroute plate
  • Access the flush line inside the engine cowling and integrate a new reinforced hose line using standard rigging practices
  • Guide the hose through the cowling into the rigging tube and run to the Reroute plate
  • Use the included template to prepare the area for mounting
  • Secure the hose line to the barbs on the Reroute plate and mount plate

When it’s time to flush, simply connect your garden hose to the new flush point — no climbing, stretching, or leaning over the motor.

Which One Do I Need?

Use these options to pick the right Reroute for your boat setup.

  • # of Outlets - Choose from Single, Dual, Triple, or Quad outlets based off the number of engines.
  • Install Orientation - Choose from Vertical or Horizontal orientation based on how you are installing.
  • Barb Size - Choose between 1/2" or 3/8" hose barbs to match the existing hose of your flush line.

FAQs

Does this bypass my engine’s internal check valves?

No. You are simply extending the reach of the factory freshwater line. All internal engine engineering and safeguards remain fully intact.

Can I install this myself?

We always recommend using a marine professional when installing or cutting into your boat. However, if you can install speakers, you should be able to do this install.

Rely on manufacturer or mechanic for assistance.

Can I add a port for my freshwater washdown?

Yes. Many boaters purchase a larger plate (e.g., a Triple plate for a Twin engine setup) to use the extra port as a centralized freshwater washdown connection.

Does this replace my factory flush ports?

No, it extends them. You are simply rerouting the internal freshwater line to a more convenient location. All factory check valves and engine safeguards remain fully intact.

Can I mount this anywhere on the boat?

Technically, yes, but we recommend mounting it in the cockpit, under the gunwale, or near the transom door. You want it somewhere accessible but protected from accidental kicks or heavy foot traffic.

Does it come with the hose needed for the reroute?

No. Because every boat requires different lengths of hose, the kit includes the Reroute Plate, Quick Connects, and hardware. You (or your installer) will need to provide the marine-grade hose to bridge the gap between your engine and the new plate.
