What comes with a Water Spigot?
One spigot. The connection parts included.
Both 45° and 90° options come with the same accessories, so you can choose the angle that fits your boat.
Washdown hose, spray nozzle and boat-specific installation supplies are sold separately.
Connecting your washdown hose
Prepare the hose.
With the water off, thread the nylon male-to-male fitting into the hose’s female end, then attach the Female Quick Connect Adapter to the other side.
Connect at the spigot.
Push the Female Quick Connect Adapter onto the spigot’s male Quick Connect tip until securely seated. The hose connects through the Female Quick Connect Adapter; you do not thread it directly onto the spigot.
Turn. Rinse. Disconnect.
Turn the spigot’s knob a quarter turn to open the water flow. Close the valve and relieve hose pressure before disconnecting.
Will it fit my boat?
A few measurements help you choose with confidence. For a new installation or plumbing change, have a qualified marine technician confirm the fit.
Mounting footprint
Compare the existing opening, screw spacing and panel thickness before replacing a fitting or cutting a new opening.
Space behind the panel
Allow room for the supply hose, clamps and access to service the connection.
Supply-hose size
Match the rear barb to the inside diameter of your boat’s supply hose. The barb size is separate from the front Quick Connect.
Hose direction
For a spigot, choose the angle that clears nearby seats and lockers and leaves the valve within reach.
The Water Inlet gives compatible onboard plumbing a capped, quick-connect connection with a polished stainless steel finish. Connect a hose using the included Female Quick Connect Adapter, then secure the locking cap when the fitting is not in use.
Use the included 1/2″ or 3/8″ barb to match your internal hose. Its application depends on the system it connects to.

What is the difference between a Water Inlet and a Water Spigot?
The Water Inlet is a capped Quick Connect for compatible onboard inlet or outlet plumbing, including an existing engine-flush reroute. The Water Spigot adds a quarter-turn shutoff valve and an angled outlet for an onboard washdown hose. Choose by the job and your boat’s plumbing.
How do I choose between the 45° and 90° spigots?
Both the 45° and 90° Water Spigots have a built-in quarter-turn shutoff valve and the same included connection accessories. The outlet angle is the difference. Check where the hose will run, front and rear clearance, and access to the valve before choosing.
Can I use a store-bought quick-connect adapter?
Yes. The Water Spigots have a universal connection that works with standard store-bought hose quick-connect adapters.
The Flushmaster difference is inside: our included Female Quick Connect Adapter uses a 316 stainless steel spring for corrosion resistance in saltwater environments.
Is the Female Quick Connect Adapter included?
Yes. A Female Quick Connect Adapter comes with each of these fittings. Each spigot also includes the nylon male-to-male fitting needed to join the Female Quick Connect Adapter to a compatible female-ended coiled washdown hose. The hose and spray nozzle are sold separately.
Can the Water Inlet replace an existing engine-flush inlet?
It may be suitable when the boat already has a compatible, approved hose route to each engine. Compare the mounting dimensions, hose size and clearance, and retain the safeguards required by the engine manufacturer. The fitting alone does not install a reroute or automate flushing.
Do I need a Flushmaster Controller for washdown?
No. Water Spigots are for onboard washdown and do not work with Flushmaster Controllers. A Flushmaster Controller is a separate product for timed outboard engine flushing.
Will these fit my boat?
Fit depends on the mounting surface, opening, screw spacing, clearance and existing plumbing. Compare the product specifications and have a qualified marine technician confirm the installation. If you need help choosing, send our team photos and measurements of the current fitting.
