Introducing the Flushmaster Flush Port Reroute Line

If reaching the engine's flush port is the awkward part of your routine, moving the connection inside the boat may help. Flushmaster's Flush Port Reroute provides grouped quick-connect points at a planned onboard location.

What a Reroute changes

The plate changes where you attach the flushing hose. Separate approved hose routes connect the plate to the engines. Engine-side Quick Connects are not automatically another required purchase for those same routes.

If you already have convenient onboard flush connections, start by checking whether they meet your needs. You may only want automatic timing or an inlet upgrade.

Choose the plate and location

Match the outlet count and orientation to your engine count and available space. Check hand access, hose direction, backing clearance and the proposed route before making holes. Use the current Reroute listing for available configurations; do not rely on old announcements of future finishes.

Plan the plumbing separately

The Reroute Install Kit is sold separately. Our standard new-installation setup uses one kit per engine; confirm hose size, route length and any suitable parts already supplied by your installer.

Engine-specific connections and check-valve requirements can vary. Have the arrangement confirmed for your exact engine by its manufacturer or a qualified marine technician. Maintain a separate approved flush route to each engine.

A freshwater engine-flush route is not interchangeable with a raw-water washdown circuit. Identify and label what each connection actually serves.

Add a Controller for timing

A compatible Flushmaster Controller can time and sequence the outlets. Use adequate fresh water, keep engines off with the approved freshwater-port arrangement, and follow each engine's required procedure.

Inspect the installation and seals as directed. Marine-use materials still require care; no fitting is immune to corrosion or wear.
